PUPA (Prior Understanding of Pupil’s Attributes) is an initiative of Chrysalis Kids to enable the teacher to understand her students. This comprehensive process captures in detail, the personality of the child and is a collaborative effort which involves the parents as well as the teacher.
PUPA begins the moment a child steps in Chrysalis (as early as Nursery) and is a continuous process till the child graduates from the school. It is a key element which helps in the mapping of the skill set of children, which in turn, helps us in directing them to choose the right career path.
Through PUPA, we focus on achieving our vision of understanding our children and guiding them on the right path to excel.
Individual Support Program is one of the key differentiators of Chrysalis Kids. While we truly believe in celebrating excellence, we know that at one point or another, every child needs support. ISP focuses on identifying the key focus areas and mitigating the learning gaps.
The academic support, given at the right time, with the needed intensity can help the child bridge that gap. ISP is the pivotal element of our vision through which we strengthen the self-belief of our children and help them to excel!
Chrysalis offers a variety of sporting & performing arts activities aimed to improve the health and fitness of our students, nurture individual talents, whilst also developing their Gross Motor Skills.
Exposure to individual and team skills through competitive Pre-CHAMPS activities inculcates a sense of sportsmanship, a school-wide community spirit and a feeling of individual accomplishment amongst students.
Trust, commitment, self-discipline, honesty, respect for the opponent and most importantly, grace and stoicism, whether you win or lose, is at the heart of all Pre-CHAMPS sessions at Chrysalis.
The dictionary defines the word ‘enrichment’ as the process of enhancing the quality or value of something. We, at Chrysalis Kids, aspire to enrich the lives of the students entrusted under our care by integrating all aspects of learning under the same all-encompassing programme.
Our students are a bundle of energy and talent and it is our responsibility to create the right environment for their holistic growth. The Enrichment Activities are meticulously planned and focus on imparting literary and artistic skills, updating them about current affairs, inculcating etiquettes and social skills, channelizing their scientific acumen, arming them with a host of basic everyday skills and a plethora of other activities.
We aim to nurture, nourish and groom our students as well-informed and well-equipped students of the future who can live life to the fullest. No wonder then that they look forward to these fulfilling sessions!
Teaching your children life skills is not only important for self-care and sufficiency, but it also allows them to feel empowered, work on socialization and reasoning, and helps develop healthy self-esteem.
Our interwoven sessions on “Mind In Making” (MIM) and “The Independent Me” (TIM) include development & enhancement of interrelated skills that help children understand themselves, manage their emotions and lead a healthy and successful life.
With monthly competitions, we encourage our children to participate and instill in them the right spirit of competitiveness. With CRISP competitions, children are given the perfect opportunities to showcase their talents and win accolades. Competitions are planned with an array of topics ranging from Show and tell, Reciting poems, Vegetable printing, Origami and many more thus showcasing the myriad talents of our children.
The main focus of Group Circle Time is to give our children the right platform to speak confidently during group discussions. Monthly Group Circle Time ensures that we not only provide them with opportunities to hone their public speaking skills but also reiterate the themes that are taught in the class.

We, at Chrysalis Kids, believe that our people are our most important asset!
Through our rigorous selection process, we consciously select only those teachers who are passionate about making a “real” difference to the learning process of a child. We do this primarily as we believe that a well-designed curriculum is best implemented when the teachers make learning interesting by adding their passion and love for teaching.
With new ideologies and advancement in concepts, we keep chiselling their skill sets. This way, they are able to deliver their best to ensure the classroom is full of expertise driven ideas. There are various workshops, induction sessions, microteaching for teachers where we hone their teaching skills and infuse effective classroom management. There are frequent observation sessions by designated Subject Matter Experts who keep a close vigil and guide the teachers from time to time.
CHISEL (Chrysalis High Initiative on Sustained Education & Learning) is a program designed to identify & fill gaps in each teacher’s development process to ensure that they meet the benchmark of Chrysalis Kids.
To take the wonderful journey of Chrysalis Kids students further and be a participant in his/her further growth and continued education till grade XII, we have the following campuses
Kids we firmly believe that smaller classes can make a difference, especially when combined with other key elements of a quality preschool program, such as well-qualified teachers who are sensitive to students’ needs and learning styles.
When groups are smaller, and staff-child ratios are lower, teachers provide more stimulating, responsive, warm and supportive interactions in the classroom.
For Nursery, we follow teacher student ratio of 1 : 8
For Jr. KG and Sr. KG, we follow teacher student ratio of 1 : 10
Chrysalis understands that not every teacher is the same. But it is important that every child in each classroom gets Chrysalis quality of Learning & Development. To ensure the same, Chrysalis has a Curriculum Team, which solely looks at development & implementation of curriculum; and training & development of teachers. The Curriculum Team develops age-appropriate curriculum, trains the teachers on the same & then ensures consistent delivery of Chrysalis quality by the way of monitoring, hand holding & guiding the teachers. This happens in partnership with the school team of Coordinators & Principal.
CHRYSALIS QUALITY ★ DELIVERED IN EACH CLASS ★ TO EVERY STUDENT
The D.E.A.R (Drop Everything And Read) program at Chrysalis Kids nurtures a genuine love for reading by giving children dedicated, joyful time to explore books at their own pace. Through consistent exposure to stories, pictures, and print-rich environments, children build early literacy skills such as vocabulary, comprehension, and listening. This meaningful engagement not only sparks curiosity and imagination but also strengthens focus and confidence, thereby laying a strong foundation and ensuring readiness for a smooth transition into Grade I.
